The sounds we have learnt this term are the ones associated with the following digraphs: OU, OI, UE, ER and AR.
OU is for... HOUSE 🏠 or MOUSE 🐭!
OI is for... COINS or TOILET 🚽!
UE is for... BARBECUE!
ER is for... SPIDER, FLOWER 🌼 or SHOWER 🚿!
AR is for... STAR 🌟, CAR 🚗 or SHARK!
As you can see we are quite familiar with the letters and sounds of the English language!
